WALTs

READING
We Are Learning To:
* Establish routines in our rooms, for example, changing our books each day.
* Read with stamina.
* Make predictions.

WRITING
We Are Learning To:
* Form our letters correctly - did you know all letters start at or near the top except for d and e?
* Use our dotted thirds correctly - head line, body line, tail line and strong line (it's not easy when you first learn!)
* Write a recount - writing about something that happened using WHAT, WHERE, WHEN, WHO, WHY and FEELINGS. Help us out, families! Every Monday we write about our weekends, so it's great to remind children what they did Monday morning.

MATHS
We Are Learning About:
* Place value - how many ones, tens and hundreds are in a number.
* We can change ten ones to one ten and ten tens to one hundred.

INQUIRY
We Are Learning About:
* Setting Up for Success
* Classroom Agreements (rules)
* School Catch Cries

More Congratulations!

Congratulations to Mr Beck who got married to Sonia recently. We couldn't let the moment pass without posters, cards, biscuits and confetti down the back!
